Trinity Parish Multipurpose Room:
Being, a heavily used, multi function meeting room at a busy church. The parishioners complained of not being able to hear audible conversation in this room due to a persistent echo regardless of the size of the crowd. Sound engineers determined that the room needed acoustic treatment to reduce the echo. The church wanted something attractive in appearance, yet with a functionality that included tackable surface and acoustical treatment. Fabritec, by Pinta, was a perfect solution to this problem. The Fabritec Wall Panel comes in many stylish colors and textures including a durable micro perforated vinyl that can be made to custom fit any room as well as providing outstanding acoustical control.
Fabritec is manufactured using willtec foam core and a rugged, tackable exterior covered with a variety of fabrics including all Guilford and Maharam. Fabritec Panels provide an NRC of .95. Not only are these panels excellent sound absorbers but they are a lot easier to install then your typical fiberglass panels. Fiberglass panels are usually heavy and hard to lift when custom sized however since the Fabritec is made of Willtec foam the panels are incredibly light. This can reduce the cost of installation by a contractor or even eliminate the contractor all together. A local contractor, to add a custom look, installed the panels in the pictures below with a millwork border. If you wish to learn more about this project please contact John Strandberg at .
