Description:
The BAD PANEL is the architectural acoustic industry's first digital, flat, sound diffusor. It consists of absorptive and reflective areas optimally positioned and "one" represents reflection. The resulting binary amplitude grating offers diffusion above 1 kHZ and transitions to absorption below. Thus, the BAD PANEL offers a competitively priced, similar-looking alternative to traditional fabric-wrapped panels, which in wide-area applications may "deaden" the space. It also offers a lower-cost alternative RPG's traditional number-theory diffusors, whose large depths and higher price may preclude their use.
